Mallory's 4th Birthday Party

Saturday, we held Mallory's 4th Birthday Party at Urban Air Trampoline Park! I knew this year that we would go somewhere for the party instead of me throwing the big party at Brian's Aunt and Uncle's house like we've done in the past. Those have been great and I loved putting them together but when Mallory and I would talk about her party this year, she kept saying she wanted it at the trampoline place so that's what we did. She's been to multiple parties there and loves to jump on her trampoline so it was a good fit!

I knew that I wouldn't have to handle all the decorations and everything but I figured we could still have a theme. I'm not sure if Mallory will ever get out of the Frozen obsession but she is still all about Elsa so I let her pick a invitation off Etsy that she liked. We both really liked the one she picked so I ordered the custom .jpeg file and printed the invitations off at Costco. Urban Air provided everything except food but I went ahead and bought some Elsa plates and napkins to go with the theme.

I got her a cute Frozen shirt and skirt to wear so she showed them off for me before we left for the party

Urban Air had everything set up for us when we got there and were very nice and helpful the whole time

Mallory headed straight to the trampolines as soon as we got there to start jumping

Aunt Melody brought the birthday cake and it was perfect as always! Kids from other parties kept walking up to look at the cake too :)

Once everyone got there, it was time to jump!

Urban Air was celebrating their 1 year anniversary with free balloon animals and face painting so that was a nice extra perk for the kids to enjoy!

We took a break from jumping for cake and presents. Thanks to Lyndsey for helping take pics!

Everybody was ready to eat!

This girl has been waiting to blow out her birthday candles and it was finally time!

As soon as she was done eating, she asked if it was time for presents. She saw them all lined up and was ready to see what was in them.

After more jumping, it was time to say goodbye. Hugs and thank yous all around for everybody who came!

FOUR!

What a wonderful party! Mallory kept saying "Momma, I just love it!" I completely agree.

Mother's Day 2015

Sunday was a great day! I enjoyed just getting to be with my family and being with the one who made me a mom! We woke up Sunday morning and Mallory and I decided to make pancakes. I love having my little helper by me when I cook. She had to wear one of my shirts to sleep in the night before :)

Before we ate, Mallory brought me flowers and a card for Mother's Day. I think the most exciting thing for me was that she wrote my name on the card! So big!

After breakfast, we got ready to head to my parent's church. All dressed up ready to go!

We decided to surprise my Mom by going to church with her and my Dad. I think she was really surprised when Mallory walked in with her flowers! I'm so glad we got to worship together!

Love my girl!

We went to lunch after church and then headed home to rest before heading to Pam's to celebrate more!

All the grandkids and great-grandkids with Gran. Yes, that is my exhausted child bawling because she did not want her picture taken. Classic.

The storm started rolling in while we were there and we all laughed when the guys went out to talk about the weather like they knew what they were talking about :)

We ate some great food as always and just enjoyed chatting it up!

Mother's Day ended with my friend Melody introducing us to the app DubSmash. I can't stop laughing at the fun videos we made with that. Let's just say, I rocked some Celine Dion. I had to let Mallory get in on the fun!

Haha! Love her expressions!

What a wonderful day!

Weekend Wrap-Up: May 8-10, 2015

Happy Monday friends! Friday, Mallory had a great time at Layla's birthday party. I love that Layla is into Ninja Turtles and she got lots of Ninja Turtle gear and toys!! Can't believe these two both turn 4 in May! Time is flying!

Friday night, I tried to get as much done as I could since I knew I wouldn't have much time the rest of the weekend. Wal Mart now carries these little $1 Famous Amos cans of cookies and I was so excited when I saw them and scooped some up. My child loves them too probably because I ate a good amount while pregnant with her :/

Saturday morning, we headed to East Texas to attend my great-uncle Donald's funeral service. My grandmother has many brothers and sisters and I grew up playing at my great-grandmother's house with all my cousins and second cousins. I have so many special memories at this house and this is where my great-uncle lived so it stayed in the family until he passed away.

I was sad for the reason that we were all getting together again but I was so glad to get to see some family that I haven't seen in a long time. My great aunt Dean and great uncle Jimmy came in from Alabama. It's been years since I've seen them so it was great to hug their neck

All the children

All the grandchildren and great-grandchildren

So grateful for the family I was born into! I love all these people and love that when we get together, we can just pick up where we left off!

We also got a quick Bradley family picture. So glad we were able to be there

And if you needed to find my child during lunch, she was pretending singing into the microphone (on the wrong end)

Before we left, I was happy to get another picture of me, Mallory, my mother and grandmother. These pictures are so special to me!

Sunday was Mother's Day and I will write more about that in another post but it was a great day and am loving the beautiful flowers I received!

And that's a wrap!

Weekend Wrap-Up: May 1-3, 2015

Happy Monday! We had absolutely nothing planned this past weekend and we enjoyed it! It was such a beautiful weekend! Our next couple of weekends are full of fun things so it was nice to have a low key weekend.

I had to include this picture from Thursday night. We were watching the NFL Draft and Mallory had to put her Texas Longhorns blanket on as a dress ... and then pose.

Friday night, I cleaned inside the house and Brian mowed the yard. After we were both done, Brian was blowing the grass off of the driveway with his blower and Mallory kept asking Brian to blow her hair. Every time he did, she just laughed and laughed. I loved it!

And then I got this shot as she was lounging the back of Brian's truck

Saturday morning, we were up early doing our errands and then we relaxed Saturday afternoon. My mom called and asked if wanted to go to dinner with my brothers, their families and my grandmother and we said of course! I love that we all live close enough to have impromptu dinners together. We went to our favorite, Texas Roadhouse and we usually don't play the games while waiting but Brian and Mallory did this time. He won her a ball out of the toy machine and then they played Galaga together. I love Brian's focus and Mallory cheering him on.

We got together to see my grandmother and to celebrate our niece, Kiersi's 9th birthday! I can't believe she is 9! She got to sit on the saddle and got a nice birthday dessert!

How did she grow up so fast?

Love her!

Back to dinner, I loved getting to sit and talk to my grandmother. She looked great and I am glad we got to see her!

Sunday was another beautiful day and we enjoyed the afternoon outside. I posted the below picture on Instagram saying I didn't know where she got the peace sign from and she holds it up in all her pictures now. One of Mallory's teachers, Kaylie, commented and said she does it all the time and I should have known because Mallory loves Ms. Kaylie and will copy anything she does.

My cousin Chris gave us a sprinkler in the shape of a gecko that Mallory's been begging to play in so we finally got it out since it was warm enough. I laughed because the swimsuit she has on is a 2T (she wears 4T) and still fit ok. I need to buy her a new one for this season but haven't gotten to it yet so she put on what we had.

At first, she stayed far away and then I convince her to jump it and she did.

We then moved it over to the slide so she could have a water slide. It was so much fun!

After playing in the backyard, we headed out to the front yard and saw our neighbors and their daughter, Wylie. Mallory always asks if Wylie is outside so she can play with her so she was so excited she was outside too yesterday. Wylie came over and played and they both enjoyed Popsicles on this Spring day!

After a bath and dinner, we rested on the couch and this girl was out by 7:30pm. This never happens. She played so hard and then crashed.

And that's a wrap! Hope you have a wonderful week!
