Our nephew Jensen Bruce Bradley was born on Thursday, February 5th at 1:53 pm! My sister-in-law, Kate, had scheduled a c-section for February 23rd but Jensen decided to come sooner and came at 36 weeks. My parents have had 4 granddaughters so Jensen is the first grandson for them!
Jensen's middle name Bruce is after my Dad (Bruce is his first name) and Kate's Dad (Bruce is his middle name). I love that!

Since Jensen was born early, he is in the NICU to help his lungs develop. He has Premature Lung Disease and he just needs his little lungs to get stronger before he can go home. My niece Kiersi also had this when she was born at 36 weeks and had to stay in the NICU for 8 days so as hard as it is, I'm glad Ryan and Kate have people they can talk to and that understand what they are going through. I know this is so hard for Ryan and Kate and I just hate that they cannot take him home with them as they left the hospital yesterday but we all know he has great care and we hope will be going home sooner than later.
Friday night, Brian and I went to the hospital to meet Jensen and I went back to see my nephew. Of course, I wanted to just scoop him and snuggle him so I just told him I was his aunt and that I can't wait to hold him when he gets better!

The NICU nurse was so great and giving Ryan all kinds of great information. They have such great care there!
Saturday, we were so happy to see this picture of Kate getting to hold her little boy!
I know Ryan and Kate appreciate the prayers for them and Jensen!! We are so excited he is here and cannot wait for him to get to go home!!

And how neat is it that Bruce was in both of the Grandfather's names. Awesome!
