Weekend Wrap-Up: February 15-17, 2013

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend - we sure did! As soon as I get Mallory now on Friday, we head straight to the grocery store. It's usually not too crowded when we are there and we can get in and out and be done with grocery shopping for the weekend. When we got home, Brian and I were unloading groceries and of course, Mallory wanted to help. So, Brian gave her the paper plates to carry in and he told her to take them to the kitchen...

She did - she took them to her kitchen. I couldn't find the plates and finally found them in her room - ha! I'll know where to look first now! Our last couple of Friday nights have just been low key and enjoying the night together after a long week.

Saturday morning, we headed to watch our nephew Cade play his last two games of basketball of the season.

He did a great job! We love going and cheering our nephews on! Mallory wanted to walk out on the court and join them a couple of times so we got to grab her so she wouldn't get trampled by the boys. She listens to us so well - not really :/

Saturday night, we took Mallory to our church so we could enjoy a night out with our Sunday School class. I'm so thankful that our church allows us a night out every quarter and I know Mallory loved being with Ms. Gay, Allison and Adam! Our class went to Shenaniganz and had a fun time.

We bowled and enjoyed time in the lounge. I cheered the bowlers on while I lounged, chatted it up and ate my fried pickles. They were great! We then went and played Laser Tag. It was our class and a group of 7 year olds at a birthday party. I haven't played laser tag in years and forgot how fun it was...and realized how young I'm not anymore :) Brian and I actually tied for 10th so at least one of us couldn't say we beat the other one!

Sunday morning, we headed to church. As were getting ready to leave, Mallory decided she wanted to put her tennis shoes on over her other silver shoes she already had on.

She was determined to get them on - ha! She cracks me up!

After church, we came home and all three of us took long naps. It was wonderful! Sunday evening, we cleaned up and got things ready for the week.

Thankful for a wonderful husband who helps with the cleaning!

Before Mallory went to bed, we got to FaceTime with Uncie, Auntie, Caleb and Cade.

I love FaceTime and it was so fun to see them! Brian has President's Day off tomorrow so he, Mallory, Caleb and Cade will get to enjoy the day together.

We ended the evening by watching The Amazing Race. Brian and I love that show and if we could be on a show, that would be our choice. A race around the world? Yes, please! Even if you come in last on the first trip, at least you got to go somewhere you've probably never been! Love this show!

And there you have it! Here's to another week! Have a great week!
