Happy Monday! This is an extended Weekend Rewind because we were out of school on Friday for a Staff Development Day and off today for our Fair Day. I'm loving this 4-day weekend and it couldn't come at a better time! We've been on the go and very busy most nights doing fun things but it was nice to have nothing planned this weekend but to be with my family.
Friday, Mallory and I slept in and played all morning. When it was lunch time, we ate and as I was cleaning up, I came back to the living room to find this:
Mallory got her 1st taste of Dr. Pepper. She's grabbed our cans before but they've been empty. Not this time. I still had some in there and left the can where she could get it and she got it! She loved it and was not happy when I took the can away.
Around lunchtime on Friday, we did head to my Mom's to see my sister-in-law, Kate and niece Eva. My brother had gone to play golf with my Dad so it was a nice girls time. We walked around the downtown where my Mom lives and stopped by some local shops.
Mallory found this rocking horse at a thrift store and loved it. Daddy, she wants a pony :)
Mallory and Eva. I love this pic of these two cute girls.
We went back to Nana and Papa's to play and then Mallory and I headed home so we both could nap.
Saturday, we did nothing. It was a rainy day and since Brian's flag football game was cancelled, we relaxed and enjoyed the day together.
Mallory will lay on her head and watch TV in this position. Just the new normal.
After Mallory's nap, we got up and ran to Mardel so Brian could pick out a new bible. He's been wanting a new bible and so I told him as a gift from Mallory and I for his deacon ordination, I wanted him to go pick out a new bible so he did.
We also went to look for Mallory's Halloween outfit and I'm happy to say we found it! I can't wait to see her in it!
Saturday night, we came back home and watched college football. Brian has taught Mallory a new expression and she does it everytime he does it. I love it!
Sunday morning, it was baby dedication and so many of our friend's babies were dedicated including Miss Kinsley.
Me and my best friend, Julie holding her sleeping niece, Kinsley.
Today, the picture below is summing up our day:
We have hung out, played and now it's nap time so I'm blogging. I'm so glad I get another full day with my pretty little girl!
I hope you have a wonderful week!

I just love Mallory's hair! I can't wait for Zo to grow some!
Love her! And her DP sneakiness :>
If I ever get well, we will have a play date!
Lol, Mallory you are so sneaky! She should probably go to Baylor where she can have all the Dr. Pepper floats she wants :)
Her and Evy look so cute together!
