Weekend Fun

Happy Monday! Another weekend has come and gone and here are the highlights from ours:

Friday morning, before Mallory and I headed out the door, Brian thought that she needed to work on blowing the duck call. He's training her early.

Friday night, Brian and I went on a date night.  I'm so thankful we were able to get away together, even if it was for just a couple of hours. We went and ate and then bought Mallory's first Christmas present. I'm ready for the Christmas season!

Saturday morning, we went and cheered Brian and cousin Cade's flag football team on. They won! Way to go! After that, we headed to Fun Fest with my parents. I was looking forward to it because I was hoping there would be some rides for Mallory to ride and their was. They did look a little old and rusty but she didn't get off the ground so onto the rides we went.

She was the only one on the ride and was confused at first but then got excited towards the end.

Another ride all by herself but she didn't care. It was fun! After the rides, we walked around and saw lots of friends. We helped at my parent's church's booth and then it was time for food. Mallory and I split a corn dog that was very yummy! We had a lot of fun with Nana and Papa. So much fun that Mallory took a 3 hour nap when we got home. Glorious.

We were outside a bit and poor thing has her mother's skin. We get sunburned easily. But it wasn't too bad and she's a cutie with rosy red cheeks.

Sunday, we went to church and relaxed at home the rest of the day. Mallory turned 17 months on Sunday and it's crazy to think that next month she will be 1 and 1/2!

Is it me or do her legs look extra long here? She is growing so fast!

Hope you have a great week!
