Kiersi's Baptism

Sunday evening, Mallory and I went, with my Mom and Dad, to see my niece, Kiersi be baptized. Mid-August, I received the following text from my brother:

We were all very excited about Kiersi's decision to ask Jesus in her heart. It is the most important decision she will ever make and we were all so proud of her! So, Sunday night, it was time for to profess her faith and be baptized.

Greg and Melody's church was having a big fellowship celebrating the opening of their new kids area and other new parts of their church. There were a ton of big bounce houses, jump areas, rock climbing walls, etc... It was a big deal and was so fun.

Kiersi & Kayden were excited to see their new kids area and to show us their church

Mallory got to jump in her first jump house. I think she loved it!

At first she didn't know what to do and I kep telling her to "Jump, Jump." She tries to jump and bends her knees but can't get off her feet but that's ok she loved trying and watching all the other kids jump.

They also had a sno-cone mobile so we all had to get one. Kayden loved hers!

After all the food, fellowship and fun, it was time for the baptism!

Pastor Jack Graham was there to lead the celebration and prayed over the new building.

And then it was time for Kiersi to be baptized. The video is below:

"We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life."
Romans 6:4 (ESV)
