VBS 2012

This past week, we had Vacation Bible School at our church. A couple of months ago, my friend, Lacey, asked if I would help with the 2 year olds for VBS and I said yes. They were all the kiddos whose parents were working VBS. It was really 2 & 3 year olds and we had a lot of fun. I worked with my friend Brettni, who is 9 months preggo, and I told her to at least wait until the end of the week to have her daughter! We also had two youth workers - Whitney & Karly. They were so nice and worked well with the kids.

Our sweet class:

This was the best we could get but hey, half of the them looking at the camera, isn't that bad!

We had a fun schedule filled with music, playtime, snacks, bible story time and crafts.  We started out each day with music time. They all got to play with musical instruments and hearing them all play at once was definitley music to your ears - ha! but they loved it!

After music, we went to the indoor playroom for them to run around and play. Next up, snack time! Who doesn't love cookies?? I love that most of them just ate the cream out of the cookies

After snack time, we headed to bible story time. Ms. Laura is actually holding Katy the Kangaroo to teach them how she sits on her square and follow instructions. She did a great job!

And then...Craft Time! You can always have fun with playdough!

We ended the days by going to the Worship Rally. I loved that our kiddos learned the motions to the songs and loved showing them off on-stage.

It was a great bunch of kids and I'm so glad I got to help! While I was having fun with my kids, Mallory was just down the hall with her friends, especially our friend Mallory Tuma. She was the only other Mallory I knew when we decided her name.

Mallory loved her 1st VBS - Amazing Wonders Aviation - Discovering God's Awesome Power!

What a wonderful week and I know there were many kids that made decisions to follow Jesus which is what it is all about!! My only other question is ... when do the VBS songs get out of your head?? :)

What a fun week! I don't know when VBS songs get out of your head, but I do know that they immediately pop back into your head when you listen to the Christian kids CD that Nana gives your baby :) Onward Christian Soldiers ...

If you have 3 children listening to the cd at home everyday....the songs will never get out of my head!
