I love that face so much! She smiles so much these days and she's so much fun. Yesterday, I took her to the home daycare she will be staying at. Before Mallory was born, Brian and I both prayed we would find a good, warm loving place for Mallory to stay when I went back to work and he definitely answered our prayers.
I wanted to take her before I went back to work so they could get to know her and so I could do a little work so I'm not completely overwhelmed when I go back. I was a little sad as I drove to drop her off but once I got there and talked to the two ladies that work there, I felt so much better. I also was there when my friend, Kasie, dropped off her daughter, Myka, and it was great to talk to her. I know God brought her in at that time so I would see that Kasie loves sending her daughter there too. When I got in the car to leave, I felt a peace and I thanked God the whole way home for his provision. I went to pick her up and the ladies said she did great! She said she smiles and giggles a lot. I was very proud and happy.
Brian will start taking her in the mornings and I will pick her up on my way home from work. I know it will be hard to say goodbye every morning but Brian and I know that me working is what's best for our family right now. I would appreciate your prayers as we transition into this new time in our life.
I took this video of Mallory smiling and playing. I know I take a lot of pictures but I realized I needed to start taking some videos also to have so here is one. Love her!
PS. I'm not sure why my blog went nuts and rearranged the layout. I'm going to work that and try to get us back to normal :)
