Christmas Cookies...with Sprinkles. Lots of Sprinkles

The Sunday after Thanksgiving, Brian had to go out of town for work so Mallory and I headed over to my parent's house to stay with them for a night. Ever since we started talking about Christmas, Mallory has been asking to make Christmas cookies so I told her would make them with Nana at her house. Mallory was so excited and I was definitely looking forward to making them with her!

We worked really hard making our dough...or opening it from the packaging :)

Mallory had the best time putting the cookie cutters on the dough and pressing them down. She was very intent about making them perfect.

Then she decided she needed to use the rolling pin like Nana was

I joined in on the fun and made some cookies with her and Mom. We laughed a lot! Definitely a special Christmas memory

And then it came time for the sprinkles. If you remember from Christmases past, the sprinkles come fast and furious when Mallory puts them on. One bottle usually ends up on one cookie but I love it! It's her favorite part and mine too!

The finished products before they went into the oven. Would anybody like some sprinkles on your cookies?

One happy little girl with her creations. What a great time we had with Nana!

When it comes to sugar cookies, the more frosting and more sprinkles the better! Anybody who disagrees just doesn't like Christmas.

Take about "The Heavy Side." Miss Mallory went a little heavy on the sprinkles and it's the BEST!
