2014 Barnett Family Christmas

Christmas Day lunch we headed to Brian's Uncle Jim and Aunt Laurie's house to celebrate with Brian's family. Thankfully they live close by so it wasn't a far drive. Mallory requested to wear her "Christmas tree" outfit again so we loaded up and headed over there

Mallory couldn't wait to get there to see Grammy

After we ate a great lunch, it was time for presents. Mallory had a good number to open and she set her presents up to where they were all around her. Can you see the excitement in her face?

These two, Jensen and Cade, were just as excited but tried to play cool

Mallory and Emmaline got matching Frozen pajamas

And then she opened her Anna and Elsa dolls that she had been wishing for. Grammy got them for her and they've been by her side ever since she opened them.

Gran opened her gifts also and was thrilled to get her calendar again. I love that she loves it so much because I work to make it perfect for her!

For the adults, the girls brought a gift and the boys brought a gift. You could pick a gift or steal a gift.  I love that Gran was in the stealing mood. She wanted the scarf that Abbi made so bad

I know I said it a lot but Christmas 2014 was great! We got to spend quality time with each of our families and got to enjoy just being with them. Seeing Christmas through the eyes of Mallory is definitely a wonderful experience. At the end of the day, she remembered that I said that we would sing Happy Birthday to Jesus that night and kept asking when were going to do it. We sang Happy Birthday to him and thanked God for all of our wonderful blessings! I hope you and yours had a wonderful Christmas as well!
