Halloween 2014

Mallory was looking forward to Friday because she knew that she could wear her pajamas to school. They had a pajama day and a pizza party for lunch. I loved that we didn't have to change her clothes to send her to school. Win. Win. No shock here that her nightgown had Sofia the First on it!

I wasn't planning on dressing up for work and knew I wasn't going to buy anything to wear but on Thursday, I decided I would go as Brian. Since we work at the same place, I knew people would get who I was because of the shirt, jeans and boots that he usually wears. I had to wear shorts underneath his jeans just in case the belt didn't hold up :) And the boots were a lot bigger than my feet so that was interesting when I was trying to walk but it was a big hit. Everybody got a big laugh out of it and so did Brian. I told him to be flattered.

And Brian wore Mallory's cowboy hat as his costume

I love getting pictures of Mallory at school and I got to see a lot at their party. She got to decorate her pumpkin and she was so proud of it!

She also loves pizza so the party on Friday was a big hit for her!

Friday evening, we headed over to my friend Tracey's house. She made some yummy chili before we headed off to trick or treat

It was on the cool side when it was time to trick or treat but we didn't mind. Perfect Fall Weather. Our princess could not wait to get more candy!

Sofia the First, the Tin Man and the Big Bad Wolf

The littles got to ride in the wagon and we all started our trek around the neighborhood

These three went from house to house and usually Liam would be the one to knock on the door or ring the doorbell. It was so cute. They all would get the candy and say Thank you and Happy Halloween!

Mallory did good unless there was some scary decorations around the house. She would have nothing to do with them which I didn't blame her.

Our last stop for the night was to see our friends, Shane and Lauren. I figured she may not want to run up to Lauren like she usually does but I told her it was just make-up and once she got that, she was happy to go see her!

When we got home, it was time to look through all of the candy. This girl got lots of good stuff

And then Mallory and I crashed. It's hard working getting all that candy :)

Whoo-Hoo! Yay for a fun Halloween! And I don't care for the scarey stuff either, Miss Mallory.

That is the most beautiful little pumpkin, I will have to remember to decorate one with glue and glitter next year! You also made a very handsome Brian, so funny.
