Gran's 80th Birthday

Saturday morning, we got to celebrate Brian's grandmother's 80th birthday! We were happy to get to shower her with love and so many of her friends and family were able to come so it made for a great time! She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time!

Mallory just couldn't wait to get to Brian's Aunt Pam aka Grammy. She was by her side the whole time.

And if she wasn't with Grammy, she was with her other favorite person, Brian's cousin, Kennedy.

We tried to get a family picture but this is the best we could get. Yes, she smiled with everyone else but not for a family pic. So is the life with a three year old!

Brian's family made a slideshow with many pictures of Gran throughout her life. After the slideshow, many people got up to say some things about Gran and once Brian got the microphone, there wasn't a dry eye in the room. He is so sentimental and we are all so grateful for all Gran did for Brian when he was growing up.

I love this picture of her listening and taking everything in. There were funny stories shared as well so there were many laughs as well.

Two of the guests at the party are so special to Brian and I. Ray and Pat live in East Texas, where my grandmother and many great aunts and uncles live. Pat is Gran's cousin and Pat is also one of my great aunt's best friends so she knows my side of the family very well as well as being kin to Brian. It's a small world!

We are both so happy anytime we get to see them! I'm so sad I didn't get a picture with Ray!

During the party, Pappy, Brian's uncle to the kids to gym and I found Mallory playing the drums. I guess they needed a break from the party.

After cake, it was time for family pictures. This picture is Gran with her grandchildren, spouses of the grandchildren, and great-grandchildren

Gran with just her grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Gran with her children, their spouses, grandchildren, their spouses and great-grandchildren.

After the party, the family stayed around to give Gran her present. Everybody went in and got her an iPad and her face when she saw it is priceless!

She was so happy!

Foster got it all set up for her so watch out world, Gran's got her iPad!

It was really such a special morning to celebrate this special woman in our lives!

The iPad face!!!! Hahahaha!! What fun!

And I'm sure Brian had everyone teary-eyed. Had I been there, I Probably would've cried too and I don't even know her.

Happy Birthday Gran!!
