Valentine's Box

Monday night, Mallory and I worked on her Valentine's Box for her party at school on Friday. I wanted to go ahead and do it early in the week so I wouldn't be trying to throw something together Thursday night. Now, let's be honest - I do not have one crafty bone in my body so even when I knew I had to make a little box for Mallory's Valentines, I kind of panicked. If you search "Valentine's Box" on Pinterest, you will see some amazing boxes. After knowing, I wouldn't be able to do any of those, I began work on ours :)

I found a shoe box and cut a hole in the top and while Brian was giving Mallory a bath, I wrapped the box in some wrapping paper. Mallory was really excited about helping and putting the stickers on her box.

I did buy some letter stickers to spell out her name and then let her run with the rest.

Ready to use the stickers that she's been waiting to open!

She was very focused on putting each sticker on the box. She had some Disney Princess stickers and some heart stickers for decoration.

And here is the final product:

I think she did a wonderful job!

It may not look like the most perfect thing you've ever seen but it is to me because I know it was made with love and Mallory enjoyed every second in decorating it! Such a fun memory that was made with my beautiful girl!

I think it turned out soooo cute! I love that you made it sparkly and let her put princess stickers on it. That's perfect for her! I'm jealous that she gets to even make a box for a Valentine's party... I wish we had an excuse to let Eva pick out some cute little cards and make a box. She will have so much fun showing off her box at school!

I love this! She looks like she had so much fun and you did a great wrapping job. :-) Don't worry. I couldn't even draw a symmetrical heart to use as a stencil. Luckily, 3 year olds don't care!

P.S. We're teammates now! ha.

Love the team work: Brian tackling her bath while you wrap the box. Y'all are the perfect couple. Happy Valentine's Day Miss Mallory!
