Prepare for many more pictures!
Prepare for many more pictures!
Tuesday morning, my Mom wanted to watch Mallory and Eva so the rest of the girls could go get our nails done. Getting a pedicure is one of my favorite things to do so I was happy to go!
Kiersi & Kayden stylin with sunglasses on
I took this picture of Kate because 1) I wanted a pic of her and 2) we were laughing at the lady beside her with the fly swatter. She was adimant at killing all the flies.
The little girls both got their toenails and fingernails painted. We had fun getting pampered.
After our manis and pedis we went back to the house and met up with the guys who had gone golfing that morning. We then went to eat at pizza place downtown. Melody said it was really hard to get a place to sit at this place during ski season and was still very busy during the Summer. Thankfully we were able to walk in and get a seat with no problem.
The pizza was very good
After eating, we walked around a little downtown
We went to a store that had lots of indians, cowboys, bears, etc.. you could buy. We did not buy one but took pics with them
We then sent the boys home to stay with the babies while the girls went shopping.
We walked around downtown and went into a lot of fun shops. It was cloudy and kept the temps down which was very nice. Towards the end it started raining on us and cooled us off more!
We found some hats so we had to try them on!
Tuesday night, Brian cooked burgers & hot dogs for all of us. Brian is the grill master so I let him handle that and I took care of all the fixings, condiments and cheese dip :) It was all so good!
Wednesday, we headed out to Pillow's Funtrackers. You could play putt-putt, bumper boats, drive go-karts, etc... We started out by playing putt-putt
Yes, I'm happy to say I made a hole-in-one on the first hole! And then went downhill from there :)
Mallory rode in the stroller while we played. Eva got to ride on Ryan's back while he played.
We then went and rode Go-Karts and Kiersi & I drove together. I didn't get any pics but we had a good time stopping Nana and Kayden from trying to pass us!
Next up was bumper boats. Kayden and I were in a boat together and Papa got us good with the water. We did get soaked but it actually felt good since it was hot outside.
All wet but we felt good!
Next up, it was time for the siblings and spouses to drive go-karts on the pro-track.
\
Brian says he won but he was the first one out so I'm not sure. Greg was on his tail the whole time though.
This picture still makes me laugh. Kate was the safest driver on the track. She was going at a leisurely speed and we would wave as we zoomed past her. She just wanted to take a nice drive around the track.
I came so close to passing Melody many times but she did a good job of not letting me pass.
After we were done, Kiersi & Kayden took their turn on the Turtle Track
Watch out NASCAR, here they come!
A little piece of home in New Mexico :)
My mom loves to play pinball so she was happy there was a pinball machine in the arcade
Wednesday night, we went out to eat and then came back to the house. We had smores and the girls got into the hot tub.
We took our family photo Wednesday night. We put Kate's camera on top of the rental car to get a good shot. I think it turned out well!
Thursday morning, we all packed up and headed back home
We went back through Roswell and I wanted to take a couple of pics from this crazy town.
Their McDonalds is in the shape of a spaceship - no aliens were seen while we were there!
We are back in our home state! We had to take some pics at the state line
Happy to be back in Texas!
Eva was very happy too!
Papa, Nana, Mallory & Eva
This is what you see for many miles in West Texas. Miles & Miles of windmills.
Sleepy girl - she did so good on this trip!
We got home around 8pm Thursday night. It was so nice to be home but I wish we could have brought the cooler temps home with us! We said goodbye to Nana and then went to bed. We had so much fun and I can't thank my parents enough for all they did to make this trip possible. I know it is a week we will never forget. I'm so thankful for my family and the fun we had together!

Hahaha, the lady with the fly swatter. She was classy. Thanks for giving me compliments on my great go kart driving skills! I'm ready for our next vacation. Hawaii 2013?
