Watch Out Road

That's right - watch out, my Dr has release me to drive again. After 3 months. I can finally get behind the wheel again. People, especially Brian, does not have chauffeur me around anymore. However, since my poor car hasn't been driven in a while, it needs some TLC including an inspection and it needed a new battery so we've got to get her back into shape just like me. Where to go? What to do? I can get out!!

Yesterday, it was my turn to go to the Doctor for my check-up and I am so thankful that my blood pressure was much lower. No crazy high BP! That was the first time also in 3 months that it hasn't been high. Let's hope it stays that way. My Dr said she was glad that it has started to go down and asked if I had been monitoring it since I got home from the hospital and I was honest and said No. I didn't want to take my BP since I had done it so much for so long that I was a bad patient and didn't do it but I will continue to monitor it just to make sure I don't have any high spikes. But I am returning back to normal, or whatever normal was :)

After my appointment, my sister-in-law Melody and nieces came over to visit Mallory and me. I loved how Kiersi & Kayden wanted to see her and hold her. They were so precious and so sweet.

Mallory slept through most of their visit but she did wake up for a little bit so they could see her eyes. And now we await the arrival of their other cousin, my niece Eva, who is coming in September. We were trying to figure out where everybody was going to sleep at my parent's house for Christmas. It was a fun conversation.

A Big Thank You to my sister-in-law Melody. I'm so sad I didn't get a picture of her with Mallory but she took care of her and cleaned some of my house. She said she wanted to do it because she likes cleaning other people's houses, just not her own. I kept telling her she couldn't clean but she did and I am very grateful.

It's crazy for me to think that today is Mallory's due date. She will be 3 weeks old tomorrow and I cannot imagine still being pregnant but I remember thinking how far away June 10 felt. I'm so thankful that even though she didn't go to a full 40 weeks, she came out a healthy, viable baby girl! We are truly blessed!
