One Month Old

Look Who's One Month Old!

Mallory, I cannot believe it has been one month since we first laid eyes on you! Where has the time gone? You are growing like a weed and I'm loving watching every minute of it. Just don't grow too fast! You know how to make your parents laugh. You have the cutest and funniest faces - even when you make that mad face, we do have to smile sometimes because it's just too cute.

You are eating us out of house and home! You are starting to fill out - we had your cousin weigh you again and the scale said the difference was 9 lbs so I'm guessing you are about 8 1/2 lbs just by the way you are eating and growing, but that's just a guess. You are able to wear some 0-3 months clothes and you officialy grew out of one newborn dress. Yesterday, you moved up to size 1 diapers. I was sad but you are still a newborn to me!

You love bathtime. Your first bath, you weren't really sure about it but you've grown to love the warm water and me washing you. You are so content when you are bathed, it's starting to be one of my favorite times.

You are lifting your head up on your own. Sometimes you love tummy time and other times you just scream until someone picks you up. You kick your legs like you want to go somewhere and one day you will crawling everywhere.

You are doing well at eating, sleeping and pooping. You are sleeping in your crib some and you love falling asleep being rocked in the glider with the sound machine on. I have most of the songs memorized now that play :) You do get fussy in the evening time sometimes but everyone says this too shall pass. I know it's just a part of growing up and I just hold you tight until your eyes close and you are out. I love snuggling you!
