Yes, above is a picture of our bed. Sorry Mom, I don't make it everday and it usually doesn't even look this put together. I had to move some clothes off and straighten it up a little. Anyways, I am posting it because when you get married, you and your spouse claim their side of the bed and my side has always been (if you are looking at the bed) the left side.
Well, when Mallory was born, Brian and I decided we would switch sides since there was space in our room by his side of the bed so we could put the bassinet or rock'n'play, whichever one Mallory was sleeping in that night, by the bed so when she woke up to eat, I would be right there. It did feel strange switching sides after so long but it all worked.
Now Mallory is sleeping in her crib so there is no need for her to sleep in one of the things beside us meaning....I moved back to my side this week! Woo Hoo! Who knew someone would be so excited about switching back to their side of the bed? Brian and I. And that's why we are made for each other...haha. All is well in the world again!

One more thing before I go. I didn't know if I wanted to write this but I thought, hey - it's my blog so I say what I feel :) and you all know how controversial I am..haha. Someone please tell me when it became ok to ask a new mom if they are breastfeeding or not - especially someone you don't know well at all? Listen. I'm all for breastfeeding and all of the good things that come from it but I also know many people who it didn't work for them and their babies started on formula and are great. I'm not going to go on about this but unless I choose to tell you what I'm doing, it's really none of your business and I really don't need to hear the benefits of breastfeeding. I already know. Most of you know how I'm feeding my child and if you don't, it's ok.

I HAVE to be on my side of the bed!! My hubs and I have swapped a few times and it completely throws me! Each family has to make their own decision about feeding and it really shouldn't matter to anyone else:)
