One Week Old

Yes, this girl above is one week old today - I can't believe it! You celebrated by not sleeping from 3:30 am - 5:30 am the night before making your father and mother very sleepy most of the day. You weren't fussy at all during that time, you just wanted to look around and see the world around you - please just do that during the daytime next time. :)

Today, when you were awake, I loved just holding you and us looking into each other's eyes. I started singing Jesus Loves Me to you and barely made it through the song. I know I am sleep deprived but I was truly happy crying because as I was singing that to you, I was just thanking God for the beautiful, healthy baby you are. It wasn't the easiest pregnancy in the world but seeing you now and how everything turned out ok, just makes the me the happiest mom ever.

We are also so thankful for our Sunday School class and the care calendar they have set up for them to bring dinner to us. Our friends, The Watsons, brought dinner last night and it was great. Thank You! My parents and The Estes' - Mallory's Uncie, Auntie and cousins have taken good care of us too - bringing us food and helping us out! We are definitely blessed with the best family and friends!
