Bottles, Diapers & An iPad

Yesterday, we ventured out to the land of Target to start our registry. I felt ok going to at least get us started however, when I got there, I just stood there, looked at everything and didn't even know where to begin. I looked at Brian and said "I have no idea what I'm doing" - yes, Mother of the Year! And as you can see below, Brian was real excited...about his Icee and popcorn that is. It kept him entertained.

When we registered for our wedding, Brian had a hold of the scanner the whole time so this time, I told him it was mine. I think we did a good job on getting us started with bottles, diapers, etc... I figure most people, including my mother and sister-in-laws, will know what I need and at least help me out. We were getting ready to leave to go Brian's aunt's for a get together and Brian's brother, sister-in-law and nephews stopped by Target on their way and I'm so glad so Stephanie and I went up and down the aisles again. Glad she came to help.

The boys on the other hand...I did let Brian hold the scanner and while Stephanie and I walked away for something, they decided to scan some things they thought we might need including a Nerf Master Gun, Waffle Maker and this:

An iPad. This is why I don't leave him with the scanner unattended. I guess if someone has it on their heart to get this for us, we won't say no. Good try, Brian.

I also wanted to share some more things Mallory has gotten.

This cross is from Brian's Uncle Jim, Aunt Laurie and cousins Kennedy and Jensen

This cute onesie and leg warmers is from Shannon - which Shannon has given us permission to let Mallory call her "Yay Yay" since that is what her other nephews and niece call her. She is family to us :) Thank you Shannon - I love this gift!

Finally, our baby book came in and I was so excited to get it in the mail yesterday. I immediately put the "M" in the front of her book and I cannot wait to start filling it out. So fun!

I do have to be honest for a second. I used to think that once people had babies, that was all that took over their blog and we would never hear anything else again. And now that's me :) Ever since I've been pregnant, it's all that takes over your brain. I love it! So, Thank you for sticking with me and sharing this exciting time with us!

Amanda, I love it! Brian in that first pic is hilarious. I'm glad Stephanie came to help you!

I'm going to TRY to get some preggo related posts up this week :> And don't worry about it taking over the blog; perfectly normal and acceptable :)
