The LP Sports Mission team is participating in leading a sports camp at Beit el Wadi, a modern camp facility owned by our partner church, Kasr El Dobara Church just outside of Cairo Egypt.
The camp will be attended by about 200 Muslim kids, ages 13-16 and will focus on teaching and developing their skills in various sports. Participating together, we want to live out our faith in such a way to build relationships with the kids and then hopefully enter into conversations with them about their lives and Christ.
We are very excited about the opportunity to be part of this adventure. We will be visiting a part of the world that is rich in history and culture, and also helping to shape a positive perception of Americans for many young Muslims. Thank you for your prayers and support.
Proceeds from this event will help provide equipment and additional funding for this trip. We hope to see you at Joe Willy's. Come hungry!!!
