Summer TV Time

It's Summer TV Time and while the Summer used to be re-runs of all the good shows - the TV world has given us some reality shows to hold us until the Fall Shows come back.

The following three shows I will watch this summer. Please don't judge me, it's just when these shows are on, I get sucked in and have to watch. I guess it is b/c they are all in a world I've never been and never will be in.

#1 - The Real Housewives of New Jersey - so far this is not my favorite Housewives installment but I have to watch it. Brian is convinced they are all apart of the mob even though the women insist they aren't. I don't know - I just watch it b/c I'm amazed at what money can do to people. I'm not one to usually say this but this show needs more drama to keep me going but I think that's coming up so I'll stay tuned. I'll be glad when the OC & New York housewives come back to us.

#2 - Tori & Dean Home Sweet Hollywood - I haven't started this show from the beginning but I caught most of the season last year. Why does this show fascinate me? It's Donna Martin - gotta love Beverly Hills 90210. So they moved into a new house and they are both trying to re-establish their careers. Not too much else going on, yet I watch.

#3 - Jon and Kate Plus 8 - Let me just preface this by saying I have watched this from the beginning and LOVE those children! They are sooooo cute and it has been so fun to watch them grow up. However, I know watching this show this season will be very hard. If you saw the first episode and haven't been living under a rock and read the news, you know there are problems. I was so sad Jon and Kate did their interviews on separate couches. I am so hoping they can get marriage counseling and work it out - hopefully their marriage is not too broken beyond repair. But it is true - as the beginning intro says to their show "It's our lives" and sometimes our lives go in ways we can't imagine. Who knows what will happen but I know I will watch the show just to see those beautiful kid's faces!

There's my viewing plan for the Summer. I will also be watching the Texas Rangers on some Summer Evenings - gotta cheer them on!
