My trip to California was great! The Women of Faith event went well and I enjoyed seeing the sights of sunny California while I could. Thursday afternoon, my co-worker Sally and I headed over to Downtown Disney. I would have gone into Disneyland but it was too much for a ticket for the few short hours I was going to have there. I did get some pics through the gates though...haha If I had never been to Disney World, I probably would have gone but since I had done one of the parks, I passed this time - maybe I'll go next time.
Hello Disneyland!

We worked hard Friday and Saturday and then Saturday night, my friend Ann-Marie and her husband, Mark came and picked me up in their Convertible and we drove around and went to dinner! Ann-Marie is from Hughes Springs (where I grew up) and she and her husband live in Burbank. We went to eat at a place called Fire & Ice - kind of like Kyoto where they cook your food in front of you. It was good and it was fun just catching up with them. I'm so glad I got to see them.I was so happy to be home yesterday though - the busy travel season has begun - Bring it On!
