I'm The Next Food Network Star!

Yes, that would be me - not really. I watch the Food Network and LOVE most of the shows but am envious of how easy they just throw the meals together. Maybe one day I can cook saying "just a pinch of this" and a "dab of that" - hopefully! I'm a cook in training but I believe Brian hasn't starved yet since we've been married so, so far so good!

And to just go along with the title - I do watch "The Next Food Network Star" and I hope Melissa wins.

Anywho, I tried my first fruit pizza a couple of weekends ago and I'm proud to say I did it all by myself and from what people told me, they Love It! Now many of you look at a Fruit Pizza and say that's so easy but you don't know me - I can screw up anything - especially food.

My co-worker Dee Dee gave me the recipe and it has been my most favorite thing I've made so far. So I'm going to give a recipe on my blog (sorry their aren't step by step instructions - I'm just happy to put a recipe up) Hope you enjoy!

1 roll of Sugar Cookie dough
1 small packet of Cheesecake Instant Pudding Mix
1 small tub of Cool Whip
Mixed fruits - I used Strawberries, Blueberries, Green Grapes and Mandarin Oranges
  • Combine the Pudding Mix and Cool Whip - do not make the pudding - just combine the mix and cool whip together until it is smooth - put to the side
  • Spread the cookie dough out onto a Round Pizza Pan - bake for as long as the package says - let cool then spread the cool whip/pudding mix mixture on the cookie - to the edges
  • Then put all of the fruits on top - and there you go! Almost to pretty to eat - Almost!
