Grill Out & Pool Time

Saturday evening, Brian and I hosted our first get-together at our house for our family! We invited our families out to our house so they could all see where we lived and so we could grill out and have burgers and hot dogs on the wonderful grill we received as a wedding present! It was a very hot evening but we survived eating out on the porch. Brian and I cleaned our house top to bottom before we had everybody over so hopefully it will stay clean for a while!

Brian was the grill-master and the food was great! He also made his cheese dip with sausage - good thing he had some bites before everybody came over b/c by the time he got back to it - it was all gone! Dessert was awesome too - my aunt made peach cobbler and had a cake made for my cousin-in-law Shannon's and my sister-in-law Melody's birthdays. Brian's grandmother also made banana pudding (Love It)! We had more than enough to go around!

After chowing down, we headed out to Royse City to the house that Brian and I were house-sitting. The Crowell's were out of town for a couple of days so we took care of their dogs. They are so sweet and share their house with everybody so we took advantage of the pool! It was so nice to swim and hang out with our family (we missed you Aunt Sherry).

I was able to look around and see how blessed Brian and I are to have such a wonderful family - God is so good!
