A Little Cheer

Our little family had a great weekend with all our family. Friday night, my brother-in-law and nephews came over to look at a riding lawnmower that we have that they are trying to get to work. Mallory was very happy to see her cousins! Still no working lawmower, but I know they will get it working soon!

Saturday morning, it was coooold. Brian headed off to his Flag Football game and Mallory stayed home and snuggled. After the game, we headed to my brother's house to celebrate both my brother's birthdays. I love seeing all of our daughters together!

Kiersi and I had fun playing with the iPhone

Kayden and Kiersi are cheering for their Upwards team and showed us a couple of their cheers. Enjoy!

Love these girls!

Sunday morning, we headed to church. Our pastor mentioned that "Faith honors God and God honors Faith" and I've had that in my head all day today. After lunch, we all went home and napped. We all needed it and it was glorious!

This is post-nap, hair, snack and drink.

Sunday night, Daddy went to bible study and Mallory and I played together all evening.

I cherish these moments. We had the best time together!

Kiersi's Baptism

Sunday evening, Mallory and I went, with my Mom and Dad, to see my niece, Kiersi be baptized. Mid-August, I received the following text from my brother:

We were all very excited about Kiersi's decision to ask Jesus in her heart. It is the most important decision she will ever make and we were all so proud of her! So, Sunday night, it was time for to profess her faith and be baptized.

Greg and Melody's church was having a big fellowship celebrating the opening of their new kids area and other new parts of their church. There were a ton of big bounce houses, jump areas, rock climbing walls, etc... It was a big deal and was so fun.

Kiersi & Kayden were excited to see their new kids area and to show us their church

Mallory got to jump in her first jump house. I think she loved it!

At first she didn't know what to do and I kep telling her to "Jump, Jump." She tries to jump and bends her knees but can't get off her feet but that's ok she loved trying and watching all the other kids jump.

They also had a sno-cone mobile so we all had to get one. Kayden loved hers!

After all the food, fellowship and fun, it was time for the baptism!

Pastor Jack Graham was there to lead the celebration and prayed over the new building.

And then it was time for Kiersi to be baptized. The video is below:

"We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life."
Romans 6:4 (ESV)

Eva's 1st Birthday Party

Here it is! I finally uploaded my pictures from my camera from Eva's 1st Birthday Party! I can't believe she is already 1! Sept 8, we headed over to my brother and sister-in-law's to celebrate the birthday girl!

My sister-in-law, Kate, did a fantastic job at decorating. This was the first time I had seen their new town home too and I loved it! Kate is so crafty and has a great decorative eye!

Love the "Watch Me Grow" banner with Eva's monthly photos underneath. I also loved how the highchair was decorated

Ryan and Kate served fajitas for lunch and they were yummy!

Why are all these people here?? For me?? Yay, Eva, You are 1!!

Mallory was very happy to celebrate her cousin. She loved playing with all of Eva's toys :)

Trying to get a picture of all the cousins. Kiersi was having to hold Mallory down because she kept wanting to get up and play.

Eva also showed us all her walking skills!

After eating a delicious lunch, it was time to open presents!

Ryan was very excited about the shopping cart - ha!

Eva was ready to play with her new toys!

And then someone else wanted to play with them too :)

After presents, it was time for cake!

It was so funny when we started singing "Happy Birthday" to Eva. She smiled the biggest smile when she realized we were all singing for her!

Let me try this...

Yep, this is good. I'll have some more!

Mallory was excited about eating some cake too

I love this photo of my grandmother, parents, Ryan, Eva and Mallory. It was just Eva and them but Mallory decided she wanted to join in the fun.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Eva! Happy Birthday sweet girl!
