Happy Monday friends! Here's what we were up to this past weekend:
Friday night, we headed out after work to go see our nieces, Kiersi and Kayden play volleyball. My sister-in-law, Melody, is their coach too so we were looking forward to going and cheering them on!
Kiersi and Kayden both played really well and their cousins, Eva and Mallory, were loving getting to yell for them!
All of the cousins together after the game. I'm not sure what my child is doing!
Saturday, Eva came over for a little bit and Mallory was so thrilled to see her at her house!
These two have the best time together. They had a little snack and watched Despicable Me 2. I went to do some laundry and when I came back in the living room, I saw they had orange stuff on their face. I knew I didn't give them anything orange to eat and they both showed me that they went into the pantry and got some Cheetos. Cracked me up. I couldn't help but laugh.
We spent the rest of the time outside because it was a beautiful day! We jumped some on the trampoline (our poor net is not longer up because the wind was so strong last week, it tore the net - boo), drove some cars and took a little walk before Nana and Papa came to get Eva. Sweet cousins. Sweet friends.
Saturday night, our little family ordered pizza and relaxed all evening. It was just what we needed. I love our time together!
Sunday morning, we headed to church. I learn so much every Sunday from our Pastor and Sunday School teacher, Phil! After church, the ladies of our SS class headed to Olive Garden for a diaper shower for our friend, Amanda Duquette. She's expecting baby boy #3, Nolan, at the end of March/early April.
Nolan's theme for his room is baseball so Lyndsey did great with the cute centerpieces and Lacey made some yummy cupcakes with the baseball toppers. I had a great time getting to hold my best gal pal, Liesl. She is the cutest! Love her! And I'm continually reminded how blessed I am to have the girlfriends I do in my life. Just sitting and chatting with them is so much fun!
After naps on Sunday, I needed to make cookies for a dessert for a meal I'm taking to family tonight so my trusty helper pulled a chair up to help me
After taste testing the cookies, Mallory saw her Daddy sit down to work and she decided she needed to sit by him and work also.
Good gosh, I love these two so much!
Have a fantastic week!!
