Friday night, Mallory and made some Christmas cookies together. I got everything out to make the cookies and Mallory pulled up a chair so she could stand and help with the process. She was very excited and couldn't wait to help! She loves to help and really wanted to do everything by herself but I did help her along the way. She really liked the flour and that we were making a mess and it didn't matter :)
She did a good job at pushing the cookie cutter through the dough. She had a big grin on her face the whole time we were making the cookies.
Of course, I knew her favorite part would be adding the sprinkles to the cookies. I just didn't realize that the sprinkles would come out so fast and this is what happened:
The tree and snowman got extra sprinkle love this year. The red sprinkles didn't come out as fast as the green ones so I let her take over with the red and I helped with the green
I was able to get a good amount of the green sprinkles off :)
I love making these fun memories with my girl
I put flour on my face and she thought that was hilarious and that she needed flour too so here we are with our flour faces. Love my flour faced little girl!
Christmas cookies is a Christmas tradition I love doing and I'm also loving getting all the Christmas Cards in the mail from our friends and family! It is so much fun to check the mail and see all the cards come in!
I have a chalkboard in my kitchen so decided to put the cards on it so I could display them all. I've gotten some more since this photo so I've added more and soon the whole chalkboard will be covered!
Merry Christmas Week friends!
