Mallory meets Santa

Friday night after Brian and I got off work we headed to see Santa. I wasn't really sure where I wanted to take her but Brian had mentioned that Bass Pro had a Santa and we could take her there. I was hesitant to say the least. When I think of Santa at Bass Pro, I'm thinking he's in a Camo Santa suit and hunting decor everywhere but because I love my husband, off we went. And...I was pleasantly surprised. It was decorated very well:

There were lots of places for the kids to do things and crafts to make. We got there at 6:30pm and I thought we would be able to get right in but we got a 7pm Bass Pass to come back and see Santa then. So, we walked around for a little bit and came back to meet Santa.

Mallory was a little tired so I wasn't sure how this would go. She usually goes to other people fine, but never anybody with a long white beard and a red suit.



Then we got there and Brian sat her on Santa's lap while I got into my position to take pictures.

She wasn't sure what to think at first



Then she wanted to look at something going on to her right



And finally she looked at the camera :)

I was impressed with the Bass Pro Santa. It was a nice set-up.

I love creating all these new memories with Mallory. I know she doesn't understand what is going on but we are having so much fun.
