Mallory is 6 Months Old!!
We are posting this today because we had our Dr.'s appt today so now we know the stats!
Weight
17 lbs, 14.5 oz (5lbs, 12oz at birth) | 80th percentile
Height
25.25 inches (18.75 inches at birth) | 25th percentile
Diapers
Size 2 fit but we are about to move in to 3's
Clothes
Mostly wearing 6 month clothes, some 6-9 and a couple of 9 month things. Depends on the brand.
Feedings
You love eating baby food. So far you've had peas, carrots, green beans and sweet potatoes. You just started eating baby food consistently but we are trying more things as the days go by. You eat 6-8 oz each bottle feeding. I love how you open your mouth big and wide when you see the spoon coming with food - such a big girl!
Sleeping
Much better! You still take a short nap mid-morning, long nap in the afternoon and depending on the day, you will take a short nap around 6 or 7pm. You are sleeping much better at night now that you are sleeping on your stomach. You slept on your stomach for naps but I was hesistant to lay you on your stomach for the full night but now that you do, it has worked well! You go to bed between 8:45pm-9:30pm most nights and when we don't have to wake you up to get you ready for daycare, you will sleep until around 7:30 am or 8am.
Other fun things
You are sitting up so well. You are getting stronger everyday and try so hard to pull yourself up to sit if you are laying down. Everything still goes straight to your mouth - especially all toys and your feet. You love sitting up and playing with all the things on your activity mat and you love your new exercauser that your friend Karlyn let you borrow. You really want to crawl, you move like you want to go somewhere so I know soon it will click and you will be on the go. Until then you just move your legs and arms all the time whenever you are sitting or are being held.
Thankfully you are a pro at looking for and picking up your pacifier and putting it back in your mouth. It has saved me many trips to your bedroom in the night because you reach around for your paci and put it right back in your mouth and go back to sleep. Thank You!!
The Dr. said everything looked great and you are growing well! You are a chunk of love! We are so thankful for a good, healthy report!

That is so cool that she learned to put her paci back in her mouth on her own! I'm sure it's VERY helpful in the middle of the night!
