Weekend Getaway

Friday afternoon, Brian and I left with my brother-in-law, Rob, sis-in-law, Stephanie and headed to East Texas. Brian's grandparents were already there with our nephews, Caleb and Cade. We went to The Villages in Flint, TX just to hang for the weekend. Brian's grandparents had gotten us a nice place for the weekend and were so thankful they invited us to go. For Brian and I, it couldn't have come at a better time, we needed to get away, even if it was just 2 hours away. We both got to pack and not have to get on a plane!

Pop and Margaret cooked us many great meals this past weekend. I ate soooooo much and it was all so good! Pop was happy to make us pancakes on the griddle. It was all Yummo!

Stephanie did study all weekend - A+ Student :)

The big hit at The Villages is the Indoor Waterpark. We went early in the day Saturday and Brian and our nephews enjoyed the water.

We went back at night so we could go down the waterslides in the dark. I got in the water this time and rode the slides with Cade and Caleb. We had so much fun and I laughed/screamed during each ride. I also enjoyed the Lazy River very much!

I love sunsets! Above is the view from our balcony and below is the view from the little beach area they have. Brian and I drove and looked at the sunset.
